Group PART I I have just concluded
reading the June 22, 1975 letter from the four-representatives-of-the-twenty-two,
and have received the full impact of another attempt to destroy The Stelle
Group and its appointed role in the Great Plan of Christ. These “works”
whether manifesting wittingly or unwittingly are the continuation of a
tremendous effort by those entities who would see the Great Plan and Stelle
destroyed, an effort in which Richard has also participated and which has the
net effect of diverting the collective attention of The Stelle Group from its
correct path. With Richard, once the
masquerade was removed, the real issues were but one ... the Brotherhoods’
Philosophy (doctrine) vs. a self-serving prostituted philosophy (false
doctrine). 5 “And
now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee,
but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. 6 “And
this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment,
That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.” … 9 ‘Whosoever
transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He
that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 “If
there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your
house, neither bid him God speed: 11 “For
he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” (2nd Epistle
of John) After removing the smoke
screen of political action-words such as “liberty,” “rights,” power,”
”democracy,” ”abuse of authority,” etc.; and after distilling the words and
deeds of those involved, we now see in the present situation the real issue
... excellence vs. mediocrity. Liberties are not usurped
in The Stelle Group. Liberty means: “freedom to choose” (in Philosophy); “the
limits within which a certain amount of freedom may be exercised”; “the sum
of rights and exemptions possessed in common by the people of a community.”
What is commonly misinterpreted to mean a loss of liberty and rights in The
Stelle Group is usually the manifest necessity for exercising more
self-discipline for our own Egoic growth. There has been a
polarization of persons in The Stelle Group which I believe had its beginning
in April, 1974. Prior to that time there existed a dependency on one man as
the source of all data ... a myth accepted by many who did not come to Stelle
because of the Great Plan, but to live at the feet of a “teacher,” guru,
father substitute, etc. Since April, 1974, the only
official direction of The Stelle Group has been toward individual growth
and the physical realization that Stelle is a school, a fact which has
existed since 1968. A great resistance to these two (2) realities has been
developed by those who would have Stelle be a government ... a democratic
government which guarantees rights and protection to those who cannot,
desire not, or will not put forth the effort to grow. They are attempting the
impossible task of negating Universal Law with feeble man-made laws. They
believe they can function outside of the Law of Correspondence, the Law of
Cause and Effect, the Law of Attraction, and the Law of Compensation. They
cry out “Democracy,” but I perceive “Hypocrisy”.., the behavior of those who
mouth the Brotherhoods’ Philosophy but do not live it. It is difficult for me
to realize that persons in Stelle are willing to put more import on man’s
laws than they do on God’s Laws. “The Hermetic Teachings are
that Man may use Law to overcome laws, and that the higher will always
prevail against the lower, until at last he has reached the stage in which he
seeks refuge in the Law itself...
are you able to grasp the inner meaning of this ?“ Who among us is above
Universal Law? One day I am sure Stelle
will have a bona fide government ... one that we evolve to when we are
prepared for it. I have been in receipt of far too many half-truths recently
about what Stelle should be, from those who have the least understanding of
it. They quote about the first civilization, which we are not. They quote
about the Nation of God, which we are not. They are willing to have us be a
duplicate government of the United States which was only one of many phases
of the Great Plan and therefore belies the evolution of the Great Plan, and
implies we should accept the effect of being on a treadmill going nowhere,
standing still, incongruous with the Universe. To what end? To the stagnation
of The Stelle Group? To create a suburbia concept in Stelle? To what positive
end which would make us worthy of receiving additional data from the
Brotherhoods? As you have already been
informed, the By-Laws Amendment Committee shall continue to meet (less the
four representatives of the 22) and work towards appropriate changes in the
By-Laws which you may judge for yourselves when they are prepared. I believe the proposed
amendments to the By-Laws dated June 22, 1975, if approved would place the
Trustees in a position of being responsible for actions they might disagree
with, and without the ability to control the possible negative effects they
might incur from such actions. Forced as it were to carry the responsibility
without commensurate authority, the Trustees would be placed in a position
that only self-serving politicians or fools would vie for. Furthermore, the
proposed amendment to Article III of the By-Laws tends to have a negating
effect on the majority vote who elected the present Board of Trustees by
breaking the agreement which existed at the time of the last election between
the voting membership and the present voted-in Trustees, to wit, the existing
Article III of the By-Laws. I further believe the proposed amendments tend
to create a government instead of School, encourage mediocrity instead of
excellence, bring “old order” ways into Stelle instead of discerning the “new
order” ways, and would promote the hypocrisy of persons being in Stelle who
were not truly interested In the Brotherhoods’ Work. Once again, I and many
others of you have had to pause ... or stop in our work in order to respond
to the attack on the Trustees and Stelle. And ... once again, there are answers
available which address the accusations, implications, and attacks on the
Trustees and Stelle. It would be a rare situation indeed where we would have
taken any action without thoroughly thinking it through and coming to a
conclusion which would not withstand the many tests they are subjected to.
Yet, here we are again, stopped in our real work in order to handle the
fall-out created by those who would not control their own environment ... who
believe that “the Trustees are doing it to them. “They have found a
sufficient number of sympathetic ears to listen in order to create another
crisis in Stelle. Do these events further the Great Plan? Does Stelle
continue to move ahead by these externalizations of personal problems? As a
Trustee, I know these adversities have been opportunities for my personal
growth, but they do not advance Stelle’s growth which we must get back to if
you will allow us to do the real work we came here for; to accentuate the
positive and get out of the negative. Please stop. In Christ’s name
stop... you cannot win in this game of madness. The only thing you can gain
by these actions is the legislation of mediocrity in Stelle, persons living
here who are not students and whose heads are outside of Stelle. You cannot
legislate information from the Brotherhoods, nor can you receive the
information already here which you have not earned ... you must grow to its
level. The final effect of this causation will be a peripheral group of
persons living a typical suburban life of mediocrity, and an inner-circle of
persons who have taken the attitude of students striving for excellence ...
an irreconcilable, divided Stelle. The Great Plan will succeed, but that does
not imply that Stelle will succeed per. se. Greece did not succeed in its
role in the Great Plan. It is not all too hard to imagine even, the
inner-circle one day leaving to create an environment elsewhere more
conducive to the place this new evolving civilization must reach. Every
decision you make is important. Every decision is the cause of some future
effect. The fruit is always in the seed whether it be a mushroom or a
toadstool. “Whatever you choose to
consider, be It an object, an attribute or an action, the law of identity
remains the same. A leaf cannot be a stone at the same time, it cannot be all
red and all green at the same time, It cannot freeze and burn at the same
time. A Is A. Or, if you wish it stated in simpler language: You cannot have
your cake and eat it, too.” (From
Atlas Shrugged) “There are none so blind as
those who will not see.” -
Christ The following Is written
for those who have eyes that see and ears that hear. Stelle Is a Preparatory
School ... here is my affirmation: The Revelation of St. John the Divine
Chapter 1 20. The
mystery of the seven stars (7 Lesser Brotherhoods) which thou sawest in my
right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks (Mundane Schools). The seven
stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which
thou sawest are the seven churches. Chapter
2 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus
write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand,
who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2 I know thy works, and thy labor, and
thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil
(expulsion): and thou hast tried (expulsion hearing) them which say
they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars. 3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and
for my name’s sake hast labored, and hast not fainted (courage, perseverance,
faith, discrimination, commitment). 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat
against thee, because thou hast left thy first love (individual Egoic
growth--the reason for our creation is to show our love for God by becoming
one with him--that is, to know the Absolute). 5 Remember therefore from whence thou
art fallen, and repent, and do the first works (individual
Egoic growth); or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy
candlestick (Preparatory School) out of his place, except thou repent. 6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest
the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.__ 7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what
the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat
of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. Chapter
3 14 And unto the angel of the church of
the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true
witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, and thou
art neither cold nor hot (insincere, sell-satisfied, liberal, Indecisive,
not growing, not making own personal decisions, no positive commitment): I
would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and
neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth (dissociate,
remove attention, unworthy due to lack of own effort). 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and
increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art
wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked; 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the
fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be
clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine
eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:
be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and
knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to
sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my
Father in this throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what
