May 18, 1974
To: The
Trustees of The Stelle Group
From: Richard Kieninger - member I am in receipt of your
directive of May 17, 1974 which bars my contacting members of The Stelle Group,
interfering in the environment of Stelle, or attending any functions or
meeting of Stelle people except by first written approval. I have also
received verbal communications from James Howery, president, that I may
contribute money, resources and ideas from time to time, but that I may not,
in effect, partake of the advantages thereby accruing to The Stelle Group. I recognize in the subject
directive your response to four items of discussion I had with Gail Kieninger
on the night of May 16, 1974, that is, in effect, your ploy to prevent them
from occurring (1) that I was considering naming myself or one of the
directors of Stelle Industries, Inc., (2) that I might wish to spend sometime
with technical personnel on, or near, the site to implement several
inventions into production, (3) my taking on a future wife a certain member
of The Stelle Group, who had so consented, and (4) my declaring before a
general meeting of The Stelle Group the fact of the long-ago demise of a
state of marriage between Gail Kieninger and myself, which they are just
entitled to know. I’ve investigated the legal
remedies against your withholding me from future participation in The Stelle
Group and Stelle Industries, and I find that you are in an almost impregnable
position. On second thought, I don’t care for the kind of public hassle
required; so I capitulate. Although I have been
informed on April 25, 1974, in no uncertain terms that I am still responsible
for all the affairs and conduct of The Stelle Group, I obviously have no
effective way of controlling its affairs. You have now taken into your hands
full responsibility for guiding the group. Fortunately, my status with the
Brotherhoods is not dependent upon The Stelle Group. The group, having of its
own accord rejected me, I can now repudiate the group. The most grievous error I
have committed against nature is that for five years I have slept and
cohabitated with Gail when were no longer in a state of marriage. I tried to
justify this by convincing myself that it was for the benefit of Dawn and
that it would be expected by The Stelle Group. I had struggled through three
years of her personal rejection of me as a man. Instead we drew upon the fact
that were good friends and worked well as a team toward a dream which we shared.
Most men would probably have accepted that as being for better or worse and
have forgotten about romantic love. I note that activity of high importance.
I recognized that I had to live with a woman I loved and love the woman I
lived with on the purely monogamous basis I had found so essential in my
past. The husband of a woman (he
was in the process of divorcing her) had encouraged me to date his wife. He
assisted this in many ways. But when it became near the time for her to
leave, he changed his mind and protested to the Trustees that I was breaking
up his happy home. That is a lie! As it turns out, this complaint was mostly
due to Gail’s influence. I responded to the Trustees letter to me by
voluntarily removing myself from the Stelle scene, and activating my plans
for the autumn. I recognize that you could no longer support me or work with
me under the circumstances. So be it. But now your arrogance
invoked in the name of Christ to cut yourself off from the Emissaries is
monstrous. This is the act of petty minds playing with fate you do not
comprehend. Titles are meaningless to me personally, and there are no powers
of which you can deprive me. I do not care to govern others, as you know.
Gail, however, will make a good ruler, for those who love power wield it
forthrightly, and she can insinuate herself into almost any situation to
control it, so she is a good politician. I have finally had a chance to see
her in operation after having heard many complaints about her methods for
years and I don’t care to have any further dealings with her whether marital
or official ever again. I have no stomach for this Gail has won, and I yield. I herewith officially
resign my membership in The Stelle Group. There is nothing I can do with the
constraints imposed upon me for whatever good you imagine is to be served by
them. The Voting Trust Agreement
has provisions for transferring the trustee if he can’t or won’t act out. I
wish my recommendation be made known that I oppose any of the present
trustees of The Stelle Group becoming Voting Trust of Stelle Industries, Inc.
stock. The fact that there will be
no Emissaries coming in the foreseeable future to teach Citizenship Training
is not due to any alleged sins on my part. That has to do with aggregate readiness
of the members of The Stelle Group. They aren’t ready for what I have to
teach. Moreover, I find their contempt for me all too bitter and isolating.
But that is a person matter. As has been previously
contracted, I shall go to Kentucky and sign the necessary papers to gain the
rights to produce the magnet motor. I shall send you full particulars
promptly. I shall cease to do anything which tends to obligate The Stelle
Group, such as seeking finances or inventions or idea from any source whatsoever,
and I promise solemnly, in the spirit of your directive of May 17, to never
again contact any member of The Stelle Group or infer my having association
with The Stelle Group at any time in the future. I know that you believe that
money hasn’t come to The Stelle group because of my presence in it. That’s
not the reason at all; but since you believe it is, you can be rid of that
precipitation now that I am no longer associated with Stelle. Farewell, and may the
Greater Beings go with you in your forwarding of the Great Plan. |
