Richard: In view of the recent adverse newspaper publicity here
about your history with Stelle, and the fact that this syndicated interview
given by your wife, Gail, is now appearing throughout the United States, the
participants of The Adelphi Organization have decided that it is best that
you no longer represent them or act in any official capacity associated with
The Adelphi Organization. Please be assured that we find no fault in you.
Our inquiries at Stelle assure us that you are being maligned for obviously
political reasons. However, at this critical stage of our group’s formation,
it is perhaps best for our image that your connection with us be minimized as
much as possible even though we are proud to emphasize our adherence to the
grand philosophy you have made public in your book. We are all grateful for your invaluable advice and
assistance in getting our church chartered and organized. We fully intend to
consult you in the future on matters concerning philosophy and organizational
structure, and I, for one, hope to have the continued advantage of your
