Re:        Group Discussion of Marriage, the Home, and Human Socio-sexuality

During the next few months, it is our intention to encourage discussion of marriage, the home, and human socio-sexuality in general: We will continue to function with the eleven discussion groups that were formed to discuss the Ten Lemurian Laws; however, we would like to encourage those persons who would prefer to participate in other groups to feel free to do so. Please contact the appropriate group leader to arrange participation, either as a visitor or on a regular basis, in a group other than that to which you have been assigned, if that is your desire. Every two weeks, the board of trustees will circulate a questionnaire relating to a given aspect of this social/sexual area in order to spark discussion. It is suggested that the groups meet every two weeks, although more frequent meetings may be held if desired by the group participants. Discussion need not be limited to the areas addressed by the questionnaires. The discussion group leaders will be requested to see that minutes (in summary) are prepared for each discussion session, to be typed single-space on 8 1/2” by 11” paper, and to be submitted to Jeanette Williams, corporate secretary. All minutes received will be published every two weeks for distribution to the membership. Every two months, or more often if that seems appropriate, the trustees will schedule a special community meeting where matters of concern in this area can be surfaced for community discussion. Through this procedure it is anticipated that an effective exchange of ideas will occur both within the individual discussion groups and on a community level.

As we move into this discussion area, we would like to present seven criteria for discussion which we feel are basic to the Lemurian Philosophy, We would like to suggest that each issue or topic be considered in light of each of these seven basic criteria, and, of course, in light of any other criteria you consider to be relevant.

As an initial area for discussion, we intend to encourage review of the information, in The Ultimate Frontier, Observations, and other material basic to our understanding of the Lemurian Philosophy. We will then move into discussion of various aspects of life as they affect different age brackets (0-7, 7-14, 14-21, 21-28, etc.). In addition to questions, material that seems relevant will be forwarded for review, and a suggested bibliography will be provided. Should you have any additions to suggest, please contact Jeanette Williams.

Of foremost concern, as we move into discussion, will be deepening the communication among ourselves; however, it is anticipated that a natural result of this communication will be the evolution and definition of a group consciousness, parameters of acceptability, etc., relative to human socio-sexuality. This is not to suggest that we will evolve one “perfect” path that is to be considered moral and proper in Stelle, because each individual must determine his own path; but we may decide that some paths are not appropriate to our purposes in Stelle, and it is anticipated that optimum goals will be defined during this period.

Attached please find material for your review, the basic criteria sheet, a suggested bibliography, and an updated discussion group list. Also included are questions designed to encourage review of the Lemurian Philosophy during the first several sessions. After this initial review, the trustees will submit questions every two weeks.
