What Is Advancement? Question: It
seems that most of this growing is done to conquer the physical plane rather
than the mental. Answer: Conquering
(understanding) the physical plane is the first order of business. As a matter of fact, you cannot become an Adept until you
know everything there is to know of the physical plane. You cannot even begin
to perceive some aspects of the higher planes until you have made a
breakthrough in your ability to handle things on this plane. The plan is very
precise and is paced for each of us to do things in
a natural order. It is much like going from first grade to second. If you
skipped grades or perhaps started out in college, your learning and
understanding would be disorganized and ineffectual. The universe is so ordered that we enjoy this same sort of graduated
situation as we move from one level of understanding to another. (09-1972) |
