WE NEED A
BIT OF YOUR HELP … Implementing
the Better Baby Institute program in Stelle requires a great deal of visual
particles of information, or “bits” as they are commonly called. Materials on
any subject are useful: frogs of the world, galaxies, flowering shrubs,
microscopic pictures of crystals, engine parts, historical furniture,
molecular structures, novas, birds’ nests with eggs, trees of the world, and
so forth. Don’t limit yourself; children can learn
anything! These materials can come from many sources—books, teaching cards,
posters, post cards, magazines, museum cards, catalogs, brochures, etc.
National Geographic and the Audubon magazines are a particularly rich source
for bits, and if you would like to send these magazines or similar ones in whole or in part, it would be very much appreciated. It is important to emphasize that any
material chosen as hits be of high quality, color photography and of finely
detailed illustrations. Of importance also is the identification of each
bit; therefore, please mark individual pictures with its exact name. We thank
you in advance for any assistance you may give us. Donations are tax
deductible; please request a receipt. Materials may be sent to: Mary Anne Bastean, Motherschool, The Stelle Group, |
