1982 Fifth Edition

Here’s the 1982 Edition of The Ultimate Frontier! It was delivered by the printer in November.

How gratifying it is to send out the back-ordered copies and respond to requests with, “Yes, we have it in stock. How many would you like?”

Everyone’ s immediate reaction to the new, larger format is positive, and the jacket illustration is entirely revamped. The Hardbound version, which is only available directly from The Stelle Group, is bound in azure blue cloth with the title embossed in gold on the spine. The soft cover book is now in the ‘trade paperback’ size (5 1/2” X 8 1/2” X 1 1/8”) with large, easy-to-read print. Other high quality changes include better reproduction of photographs due to finer paper, and a sturdy binding.

An explanatory list of the other publications by The Stelle Group has been included in the new edition of The Ultimate Frontier, and a much-expanded cross-index of subjects is at the end of the book. This very detailed index occupies 73 pages and has its own cross reference tables.

Included in the tables are two time-line charts placing all the events related in The Ultimate Frontier into chronological order.

There are even weightier changes in The Ultimate Frontier. The “Results” Appendix has been updated and incorporated as Chapter 17. Richard has added Chapter 18 and a new Appendix. The latter two unfold the direction we must take if we are to recreate a healthy culture that nurtures Egoic growth.

Chapter 16, entitled “A New Challenge” recounts the main points of a three-day meeting between Richard and James, “a friend of Dr. White,” in December 1959. Richard chose not to include James’ teaching in earlier editions because he “found the ideas so foreign, that he could not readily accommodate them. It took about ten years before he understood them to the extent of accepting and using such information effectively.”(TUF, pg.262)

James took those three days to outline to Richard how we “must recreate a balance of the patriarchal and matriarchal world views, just as the great Lemurian culture had.”(TUF, pg.255) The profundity and subtlety of this task is awesome. By comparison, the development of the technology to survive the events at the turn of the century sounds like child’s play. James clearly defines the patriarchal and matriarchal world views and explains why it is essential that we achieve an equal balance between the two. James required Richard to study “child psychology and the neurological development of the human brain”. He stated that “People attain less than half their potential intelligence because as children they are not given the right kind of stimuli and guidance at the proper moments in their neurological development.”(TUE, pg. 261)

“Christ’s admonition to love one another will continue to be thwarted if you allow Old Order habits to enter the Kingdom of God. The very survival of mankind depends upon his ability to re-learn how to love.”(TUF, pg. 260) Richard’s new Appendix outlines the love-crippling attitudes that have evolved in our culture, and how in The Nation of God the economy, government and education will be radically changed to reverse this trend. The new Appendix sensitively addresses the real concern posed by many women who are legitimately seeking more opportunities for self-determination and how this relates to what ultimately means most to a human being.
