Visualizations

One man questioned if it was his own energy which generates a visualization of something, such as a picture of a machine he wants to create. Richard answered that the energy should he his own. The creative energy which we invest in the forming of a picture of something in our minds is of the fourth, or mental, plane of existence. Richard said, “Actually, the mental energy which we use cannot be generated by ourselves, but rather, we are like dynamos which transform one form of energy into a direct beam, so that we can concentrate it and focus it until we reform it. But the energy itself is a radiation that suffuses the solar system, coming from our own sun.” The questioner then wanted to know why it is sometimes easy to visualize a creation and other times no clear form can be made in the mind. Richard replied that the reason could be due to the difficulty of concentrating in an area in which there is only a hazy understanding. He suggested that the discipline of making sketches of what you are able to visualize may help to clarify the overall picture and bring it to some future completion. (02-1970)
