UFOs In answer to a question on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO’s), Richard divided UFO’s into two types—ships from other planets and those from this planet. Extraterrestrial ships may be used only for observation and would be prevented by means of subtle Angelic intervention from landing and. interfering in the environment of another planet. The beings in these ships are not necessarily more advanced spiritually than we are, since an Adept would. not need a machine in order to communicate with his counterpart on another planet. Ships from our own planet are used by the Brotherhoods, who have used them for thousands of years, mainly as supply ships for their remote outposts. (10-1968) What Do You Think About UFOs ? Q: What do you think about UFOs? Do you feel that maybe people from other planets are really trying to contact Earth or is it just a large imagination or hallucinations and tired people? RK: There is an idea that really we are turds that are being tended by these other people to be eaten. All the information that I have been given by my Teachers say that there are indeed human life forms elsewhere in the Solar System and beyond our stars, but they are not permitted to interfere with us mentally or physically. They may observe us and they may, even on occasion even land on our planet, but virtually none of them can survive in our atmosphere: our atmosphere is poisonous to them. They are not lurking around in different places. Q: Do you think maybe that the Air Force Blue Book is correct that it is all varying atmospheric conditions that are causing people to see— RK: I think that we are observed by other intelligences that have come here. Now, whether or not those machines are manned or if they are just very intricate, high-powered television sets or something like to see what we are doing here and sending that information back someplace I really do not know. People who presumably are taken aboard flying saucers or contacted by Space Brothers are, generally speaking, the influence of negative entities of our own lifewave who design to confound and confuse us. That is not very dramatic, but I am inclined to believe it because it is what I have been told so I am willing to go along with it. For instance, if you look there from the other side, if two-hundred years from now or even a hundred years from now we develop the technological means to travel to another planet, who the heck are we to tell people on other planets what the real “dope” is? If these people are not far enough advanced that they are still restricted to arriving at another planet in some kind of a physical craft of some sort then, obviously, they are not Egoically and mentally advanced enough to do it just on a purely mental basis. I understand that Adepts can contact Adepts from other planets which is where most information about what is going on, on other planets occurs. But, they are not allowed to go there and be there. They just have that mental transmission of information. So, I would be inclined to say that anybody who still has to travel around in a physical craft is not yet even an Adept. Adepts would not interfere in another planet. Q: Could you run through what little you know about valixes? My big question is why do they even exist? Why would they need something like that in Atlantis? RK: Valixes were aircraft: flying submarines, as a matter of fact, that were used in Atlantis. Or submersible aircraft, however you want to look at it. They traveled just as well through the ocean as they could through the atmosphere. Q: Have you gotten the impression that there are existing valixes that the Brotherhoods use. RK: No. That went out with Atlantis. The power source that they used and what have you just has not been used since. That does not mean it will not be used again, but no culture that we have on the planet has used that used that technique. Flying saucers is what the Brotherhoods use. Q: Wait a minute. (laughing) Isn’t a valix a saucer-shaped thing with hemispherical engines? RK: No. It is an eagle-shaped craft. Q: Oh. Flying saucers are the Brotherhoods’ things that are physical objects. What would they be needed for? RK: To get around. There is no fuel required for them and they are real handy for getting from one place to another. Q: If They can operate on the mental level why do they— RK: Well, things like food. Some of the Brotherhoods’ headquarters are really in very remote places. For an Adept, or something like that, to visit the headquarters They need to have some better means of getting there particularly in the days before modern transportation. Q: Would that explain some of the UFO phenomenon that people see— RK: It does particularly from records and descriptions of things that were seen a couple of centuries ago and earlier. But, they are all the same shape. Q: It seems that recently in a “Science Digest” magazine they had a description of just how varied the three- or four-thousand sightings that had been computed and analyzed it seemed like you cannot come up with one explanation for that would only be—only take care of a small percent of the three-thousand sightings and the rest would have to be— RK: The Brotherhoods usually try to travel at times when nobody is likely to see Them. They do not try to contact anybody other than Brothers. The vast majority of Brothers have no need to be contacted by us. They will be picked up or deliver something or for Them to be taken someone to safety. So, the Brotherhoods have really have kept it low, low-key. They do not advertise these things. They do not try to influence people or get them all excited about, “It must be somebody coming here to save us or to give us the “word.” All valuable information that needs to be brought to the attention of Earth people is done through the Brotherhoods. Nobody else can improve on that from another planet. Our Masters and Adepts have grown up through the understanding of our own brain, They understand everything there is to know of the physical plane, everything about human psychology that is possible to know. How could anybody from another planet possibly improve upon the tools that the Brotherhoods already have for getting information to mankind in ways that mankind is likely to be able to accept? Q: For all practical purposes, explaining the UFO phenomenon can’t be done by saying that you are seeing Brotherhoods’ ships? RK: Right. And it is pointless. There is no message that is being brought to mankind by the Brotherhoods crafts. The Brotherhoods already have members gathered around us here in strategic places and They are doing the best that They can already. Q: Yes. I am just trying to come up with an explanation for— RK: They could be holograms. Maybe somebody has learned how to broadcast holograms over the horizon or something like that. There are strange electric phenomenon in the sky which defy all explanation. Some of them have been duplicated in laboratories, now. I really do not know what the answer is for all of those kinds of things. There are about two-thousand sighting per day. It goes on and on and on that way now since the sixties. What is it? It may just be somebody is trying to scare us or set us up for some kind of a plot or something of that sort. But, who we will never know? Maybe it something that the Black Mentalists have a machine that they can create such images in the atmosphere or something. I do not know. I would say that the vast majority of them are natural phenomenon that we have not been able to interpret yet. A lot of it is hallucination. People can see a Sun Dog or something like and enclose it entirely in a craft with fifty-seven windows on the periphery and leaving smoke behind it as it moves through the sky. People’s imaginations can do that so readily particularly if you are overtired or something like that. Or you are driving home at night at 4:00 o’clock in the morning and a strange light shows up in the sky, you can see all kinds of weird things. I remember one night I was driving and saw a car pull right in front of me. Just swing around in front of me as I was driving. I had been driving for about twenty-hours straight at that time. The car that I saw I would have crashed right through it, but I drove right through the car. It turned out when I backed up, it was two beer cans alongside the road which my mind translated, being in a very overdrawn state, as being lights coming around the road. I had to account for them somehow or other so my mind made an image out of the light of a car pulling off the road. So, you can do that under normal circumstances. A person who already has a keyed-up interest in flying saucers can make up an incredible number of things out of nothing. I do not have a full explanation of all the phenomenon, but I pretty sure that we are observed. I do not know if there are two-thousand crafts per day doing it, or if there is one craft that is seen in many places over the course of the day. The problem is that there is an embarrassment of riches in sightings. There are too many sighting of them. How many people could be coming from other planets to see what we are doing here? Maybe we are megalomaniacs to figure that many people would be interested to know what we are doing here. I really think that our universe is benign. Most of the intelligences elsewhere in the world are at least as civilized as we are and probably more because they have a culture which has been more continuous than ours. Really our culture is twenty-five hundred years old. Some of these other places like Lemuria were fifty-two thousand years old at one time. I would think they are quite civilized. But if they were looking for Klingons out there or something like that then forget it. (04-1982)
