Life on Other Planets

Another topic discussed during the question and answer period was life on other planets. Richard stated that the Earth’s space programs will never succeed in landing men on other planets since that would contravene the Angelic protection that prohibits a planet’s interference in the environment of another planet. At best, only our orbiting for observation is likely of success.

When asked why scientists with more sophisticated and powerful equipment could not see signs of intelligent life on other planets, Richard answered that recently scientists have become aware of signs of such life; specifically, light signals have been noted emanating from Mars, and radio signals have been detected which axe not connected with natural pulses from radio stars. The enormous distances involved, however, prevent actually ‘seeing” life on other planet even with the most high-powered telescope. The inhabitants of other planets were described by Richard as being “recognizable as humanoids,” being equipped with the same types of sense perceptors as we have. However, the term “humanoid” allows for a very wide range of variations in size, shape, color, proportions, density, body processes, etc., which are determined by the physical and chemical environment in which the race developed.
