The Principles of Tithing

Another question concerned the karmic implications of donations given to The Stelle Group. Richard answered that the tithing principle has been a long-established understanding in many religions. All of us owe the Universe quite a bit—for life itself, as well as for the fruits of the world and all its raw materials. But karma teaches us that we cannot get something for nothing; so we really owe God for all of these things we receive, Since God cannot be paid directly, a long time ago the ancient Lemurians were taught to give 10 percent of all they earned to God’s work. At that time a group of advanced Egos, known by the general populace as Elders, were working to establish civilization and giving their time to training persons to take part init. Tithes were therefore given to the Elders for Their support and for furthering the development of civilization. The Stelle Group, a nonprofit organization for furthering the Plan of the Brotherhoods, is a legitimate recipient of tithes; for no salaries are paid and the money is deposited to the building fund or operating fund. As an added benefit, each person who tithes is establishing his personal equity in Stelle where he plans to live as well as keeping his karmic account balanced by compensating for God’s gifts to him.
