Are the Sufis Connected with the Brotherhoods? Q: Are the Sufis part of the Brotherhoods’
organization? RK: I do not believe that they are part of the
Brotherhoods. They are a mystic order of Muhammadanism. They were really were
kind of independent of Muhammadanism and then joined in with the Mohammedan
concepts, primarily to keep their heads. The Sufis have many mystical
practices that they have preserved down through the centuries and are
accepted by the Muslims in that part of the world. Q: You say that they are not part of the
Brotherhoods? RK: Yes. It is not part of the Brotherhoods. |
