What Educational and Spiritual Programs Are Available to Stelle Members? Question:   What sort of education and spiritual development are available to Stelle members? Answer:    Citizenship training will be started by emissaries from the Brotherhoods in a few years. Prior to that time most of one’s education and development happens by being active in The Stelle Group. There are many trials that the people go through individually and that the group goes through collectively, which must be borne before we can finalize our work. The mettle of the people must be tested. Their courage, patience, and strength must be proven. We will soon be getting into the practical aspects of building a city. Right now we are just theorizing, It is in the doing and the working together that the real learning comes. Then we know the feeling of belonging to something good and great; bigger than ourselves and manifestly useful. Many people do not often get to do that sort of thing. We are all students in The Stelle Group. People come to realize potentials they never knew they had. Every time a person solves a problem, he grows. We are closing the era of theoretical contemplation in the next few months and engaging in the practical aspects of building a city. That is the school! Those with more practice and knowledge pass it along so they can enlarge their efforts through others. As far as spiritual growth is concerned, everyone must travel that road alone. Our type of school separates the ones who can make it from those who will not when the chips are down. About two-thirds of those accepted can pass the tests. Everyone must go through these trials on their own. The Stelle people are being tempered until they are stronger than others. (03-1972)
