What Is the Rapture? Question: Referring to Bible prophecy, how do you
reconcile some of the teachings of the church such as the rapture and that
only Christians will be saved and all others lost? Answer: I can answer one portion of that quite
readily. I would say that a person who lives Christ’s philosophy is a
Christian regardless of his parents’ religion or heritage or in what part of
the world he resides. Whether or not you have ever heard of Christ, if you
live by Christ’s commandments, you are a Christian. You can pray to God by
any one of a thousand names, and He still hears you and answers. (12-1974) |
