Past Lives Not Relevant Noting
that some of Richard’s past lives were detailed in
THE ULTIMATE FRONTIER, the question was asked why this was done and whether
it is desirable to have knowledge of past lives. Richard answered that his
understanding of why the accounts of his past lives were
given was to convey a legitimate continuity to his present life’s work.
The main point made is that a small job assigned was well done,
hence a larger job was assigned. Generally, knowing about past lives can be
more a burden than a help, and most often it is
unusable information. Richard
commented that he has come to understand that only through doing things for
other people can real happiness be found—that this
seems to be the clue to what produces joy in the world. Masters and other
highly advanced Egos, who are in a position to promote a great deal of good
for people, experience almost continuous joy. (01-1969) |
