Obtaining
AND Keeping Stuff A visitor asked Richard a
question concerning precipitation and karma. Richard referred to the familiar
saying, “You can’t get something for nothing.” This is true in mental precipitation
as well as in the world at large. Though you may succeed in bringing a number
of beneficial and useful things into your environment through great skill in
mental precipitation, you can keep only those things which you have
sufficient positive karma to compensate for. An individual may strongly
desire to have a new convertible and manage to win one in a drawing or
contest, however, if this individual did not have sufficient karmic credits
to retain the fruits of his precipitation, his new automobile may be stolen
or ruined in an accident. No matter what you possess in the universe, if you
have not earned it, you must pay for it or lose its use; this is a principle
basic to Universal karmic balance. However, there is a moderating time
cushion to allow for installment buying. (10-1971) |
