Is Fasting Good or Bad? Question: Is
fasting good or bad? Answer: There
are some good things about fasting as long as it does not go too far too
fast. I would say that a person should change his diet every so often, for it
tends to perk up the body’s whole system. Sometimes, it helps for people to merely stop eating meat for a little while.
If you fast to a great extent, you can put your body
into a passive state which tends to open you to influence by other entities.
If you fast beyond a certain point, you can put yourself into a hallucinatory
state. You can hallucinate even quicker if you deprive yourself of water for
two days, and many people have deluded themselves that they were seeing
visions from beyond this plane. I am not talking about dieting now, I am talking about fasting whereby your intake is far
below what you need for normal metabolic maintenance. People often deprive
themselves of food that they would normally like to have for a certain length
of time, such as for Lent, and it gives them a feeling of strength of will
