How Does the Etheric Body Affect the Physical? Q: You say the Etheric pattern can grow and the physical not follows immediately? RK: A person's height and overall size is not necessarily determined by the Etheric pattern. That is determined by genetics. The Etheric pattern for all human being is identical. Well, as to male or female: all males have the same kind of Etheric pattern and all females have the same Etheric pattern It is kind of interesting thing that a midget has the same kind of Etheric pattern as a person who is six foot, ten [inches] or something. Q: I have never heard the Etheric pattern described— RK: The Vital Body is the other name for living creatures. Q: Apparently, it is—can someone actually see that: the nerves are apparent and the bone structures are apparent and the “whole shootin’ match.” Only it is not “to scale?” Is that what you are saying? RK: The thing that is interesting about it is that, as the body grows, the Etheric pattern corresponds to the exact size of the body. The Etheric pattern is the same for everybody, and so there is a definite exchange between all the physical structures, the Etheric body or the Vital Body, and the Vital Body itself. The Vital Body causes the growth in all the proper portions—like you were just saying about the nerves and the veins and the bones and every internal organ. The maturity of each of those structures is determined by the growth of the Etheric pattern. The Etheric pattern—the Vital Body—grows from a seed-size or sperm and egg, whatever kind of gametes are involved, and grows to fruition within whatever the maturity time is. For a tree, that is fairly simple because the tree is matured as soon—as far as the growth of the pattern is concerned—as soon as it gets some leaves and some kind of a trunk and root structure the whole thing, maybe this big, may be pulled out of the ground. That Etheric pattern is set and however big the tree grows—and the size of the tree is set genetically—the Etheric pattern grows with that tree. But is the same Etheric pattern. It has all the different parts in proper proportion to make it work. The same thing with a midget or a person who is a giant. Q: The fact that humans have normally two sets of teeth is that Etheric or part of that pattern? RK: That is genetic and Etheric. Q: The fact that they do not have ? RK: Well, some do and some get none. So, there are all kinds of flukes that can occur. But, generally speaking, the flukes are due to genetic problems and not to the Vital Body problems because everybody's Vital Body starts out perfect. As far as human beings are concerned, human beings can negatively influence the Vital Bodies but they cannot make them more perfect: perfect is perfect. They cannot make them more perfect, but you can make them less than what they should be by negative mental activity: visualizing oneself as sick or “falling apart” or something like that. Q: If you have done that, can you can reverse that type of thing through proper— RK: Yes, you can. You can reverse the negative thought, but you still cannot make it better than what it should be. You cannot make it more perfect than perfect. Q: But, in a day or so? One year at a time? RK: Right. But, not only if you have not broken it down. If you or nobody in your family has contributed any kind of thought in order to make it negative or less than what it should be, then it remains perfect. So, it is not inevitable that it should break down in some way because a lot of people just never do have a breakdown. Q: If someone had a physical malfunction, though, it is in their Vital Body? Is that true? RK: Yes. As a matter of fact, a person who is a doctor who happens to be a clairvoyance can see the energy disturbance in the Vital Body. A lot of people who are really top notch diagnosticians also happen to be clairvoyant and they can spot immediately a malfunction in the Vital Body, so they know that a corresponding part of the physical body has got to be diseased in some way. That helps things. Q: I asked but maybe I would like to ask again. In a situation where you are like that, whether or not you have a physical malfunction, due to the fact that you, mentally, caused an aberration in your Vital Body, or it was something existed before you incarnated, then there are mental means by which you can make that flaw go away: heal the wound in the Vital Body so to speak? RK: Right. Q: And then the physical is going to follow the pattern? RK: Even major deformities can be reversed, in that respect. But, most people do not believe that that is possible. I mean, you can hammer that into their heads as much as you want, intellectually, but they just do not believe because the they say, “If that was true, it would have changed a long term ago.” Under those circumstances, an external healer—somebody outside of yourself—can do a great deal to help you, if they have the skills by which to manipulate the Etheric body, because the physical body can confirm almost instantly to what the Etheric pattern is made to be like. (09-1982) Are the Acupuncture Points Related to the Vital Body? Q. Are acupuncture points related to the chakras? A. The energy that feeds the Vital Bodies of plants, animals, and men from the sun is an energy on the second plane of existence which radiates to the Earth for sustenance for all living creatures. This etheric energy enters your body at specific points and follows pathways which are part of our Vital Body. These pathways lead to organs deep inside your body and then to the surface of the body again so that the flow forms a loop in and out. the surface inlets and outlets are the acupuncture points. Chakras, on the other hand, are seen on the Astral Plane. To some clairvoyants they look like flowers slowly turning on the back and on the head. There are seven major plexi of the autonomic nervous system along our spinal column and head. Each of the plexi controls one of the endocrine glands. Chemical-electrical nerve energy on the physical plane flows through the plexi and so does the etheric energy which sustains the Vital Body. On the Astral plane, the animal life essence which animates the living cells also flows through the plexi. Because emotions originate in our mind on the fourth plane, our emotions have an effect, through the plexi, on four levels: the physical, the Etheric, the Astral, and the Mental planes. Emotions affect the endocrine glands, and resultant changes in energy flow through the plexi can be seen clairvoyantly in the corresponding chakras on the Astral Plane. Various emotions, such as fear or anger, cause changes in the size, colors, and rotation rate of the chakras. An Ego who is decarnate on the Astral Plane has no chakras. Chakras are associated with a person’s physical body, and they are astral phenomena directly associated with the nerve plexi. (02-1987) What Do Vital Body Auras Look Like? Q: I’ve always had this thought that the Vital Body was seen as an outline. If a clairvoyant saw the Vital Body, would he be able to see each of the organs distinctly in a silhouette form? Is that what he would be looking at? RK: I’m going to try to describe this as best I can. Clairvoyance is all mental. You don’t have to have eyes in order to be able to be clairvoyant. You can decide which layer you want to look at as you’re observing a body. In which event you would be able to see organs. Otherwise, you just see a healthy-looking overall coloration. If there’s a bright green, very thin layer of light around the individual, then you know that everything is all well. But sometimes, around certain parts of the body, there will be brownish, or lack of light, in which event you can correlate that with an organ that’s nearby. That can give you some clues. (08-2001)
