What Happens in Stelle After the Depression? Question: What
kinds of activities will be prevalent in Stelle after the onset of the depression?
Will it be primarily a time for study? Answer: We
will probably be quite busy after the depression begins, because we will have
to provide for all our basic needs within the city. There will be a loss of
efficiency, especially in the beginning, due to lack
of equipment and know-how in some of the areas whore we will have to
function. For example, we will have to make shoes in Stelle, though we may
not have really good machinery for making shoes. We
will be unable to trade outside the city for at least two or three years.
Yes, it will be a time for study—we should study all the time. But most people will keep busy doing something to trade
