What Is the
Role of the Rosicrucians?
Q: Could you mention your views on the modern roles of the
Rosicrucian organizations and any differences of opinion you might have with
them? Any major differences?
RK: Well in the first place, there are three Rosicrucian
organizations. So I guess I am going to ask if you mean AMORC
because that is the one that is the most popular and well known. Well, they have accumulated a lot of very valuable esoteric information
and lumped it in indiscriminately with the whole bunch of things
which, although they work, happen belong to the negative side of the
occult. As a result, many people get themselves into very serious karmic
troubles who invoke the interference of other entities in the process of
experimenting with these various things that they say if you try they will work. I guess it was just from a lack of
being able to discriminate between what things were positive and what things
were negative when they compiled all these different things from many
different sources. They all get lumped under the
occult. To determine that kind of discrimination of what is good and what is
bad requires an incredible number of mistakes on the part of all of us in the
course of living a lifetime; the
pursuit of many blind alleys. That is how you get wise. I guess the
number of burns that you have is in direct proportion to how wise you
eventually becomes.
Q: On that topic, is there any connection between the little
known sect of Rosicrucians and one of the Brotherhoods?
RK: Is there any connection?
Q: Yes.
RK: No longer, because the Brotherhoods
are longer backing any of the schools that were originally setup by Representatives
of them. The reason for that is that the attitudes of the people who are
involved in them have changed so radically since the time of that they were
founded they become very over-materialistic and kind of
oriented to money-making and things of that sort. There is nothing wrong with
making money, but if that becomes the primary motivation for the organization,
it generally tends to deteriorate as far as its value to the Brotherhoods is concerned. (03-1981)
