What Is “Mankind’s Cause?

Question:   What is “Mankind’s cause? How could I help it?

Answer:     There are many volumes written on that subject, but a good definition-in-a-nutshell of mankind’s cause is “the brotherhood of Man.” We need to feel that we can trust our neighbors, that fear is not necessary. If there were no fear, there would be no hate, and the world would be a beautiful, peaceful place to live.

Question:   If Mankind’s cause is brotherhood, why are you building a city which will exclude so many people?

Answer:     Many do not believe in the cause of Mankind. Some selfishly desire control and advantage over others. Many would have little regard for or are against the kind of civilization Stelle must create, and they are unwilling to change their ways of thinking. These people exclude themselves from the new civilization. Our children must have as examples only those who are striving for a better way. We must consolidate and uplift our efforts to fulfill our special responsibilities to the Brotherhoods’ Great Plan for Mankind. (03-1971)
