Can One Invite the Mentalists Into Their Life? Question: You
have said that the Protective Prayer brings help from the Brothers whenever we
ask it. Are there also certain things you can do to invite the Black
Mentalists? Answer: A
person who harbors hate and fear sets up a natural rapport with the Black
Mentalists. Prayer will not stop for very long the line of communication
which he quickly re-establishes by his negative mental activity.
Though he does not intentionally try to contact lower entities, he provides
them with a natural inroad through his fearful, hateful feelings. Question: Suppose
an individual asks for protection, receives it, then invites the Black
Mentalists in again by getting on their wave length—and
follows this cycle repeatedly. Don’t the Brothers
eventually leave him to experience what he is opening himself to? Answer: No. They keep helping. A child may
repeatedly spit out his pablum, but we don’t stop
trying to feed him. The Higher Beings have regarded the perverse population
of the world in this way since the beginning. They see that we are very much
like ignorant children who create numerous problems for ourselves. No matter
how often we open channels to lower influences through our ways of thinking
and behaving, the Brothers always give us help when we ask for it. However,
the Brothers cannot interfere with what we are consciously trying to do, so the
situation is particularly frustrating for Them. Helping Mankind requires the
same quality of patience demonstrated by the man who was crucified and earnestly
said, “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.” (07-1971) |
